Ananda Yoga

The Yoga Hall, here at Ananda, is one of the largest in Thailand, measuring 15m x 10m, which equates to 150 m² of unencumbered space. We are very happy to be able to host some of the more advanced-level courses available in Agama. Agama was founded in 1998, by Swami Vivekananda Saraswati, in Rishikesh, India, and is a school of esoteric Tibetan and Indian tantric-lineage Yoga.

Agama Yoga

Agama offers students the secret spiritual path to true Integral Yoga. This unique international school offers this in a modern form. Being based on authentic, esoteric lineages of Tibetan and Indian Tantra, Agama uses an upgraded and updated self-development program, which includes the theory of comprehensive university-level yoga teachings, combined with other sacred traditions from both the East and West: Gnostic Christianity, Sufism, Taoism, and Tibetan Buddhism. Kundalini-based Laya Yoga and Hatha Yoga are at the heart of this extraordinary system that we teach. These are two of the most influential components of this well-aged tradition. This method has been almost completely lost, today; it relies on being aware of energy while practicing your yoga session, producing a highly accurate understanding of one’s own spirit, mind, and body.

Yoga for Health

Tailored to your own individual needs, Health Yoga classes are also offered at Ananda. No matter your situation, whether that is fasting, detox, or having thyroid gland issues, high blood pressure, pre-diabetic symptoms, or some other condition, there are asanas offered that will aid in your specific situation. The instructor will ensure that your lifestyle and needs will be met during the class. Focus will be on range of motion and flexibility. Healthy Yoga is intended for every type of student, whether they be old or young, advanced or beginner, or even a yoga instructor.
